I am interested in which creatures have the highest percentage chance for a gold drop.

Go to silent surf from leviathan pits. Make for this boss and there will be 3 others by the time you get there. I was farming for his bow, wow the loot was amazing even in nm. Just follow that exact path from wiki.

I'm curious, what exactly is your aversion to doing research on your own? You ask the most general, vague questions to things you really should be finding the answers to yourself. There's no title for useless thread-making due to laziness, stop grinding for it already.

No monster has a different farm code to any other throughout the game - they're all equal.

Go to the wiki. Look at the gallery of weapons. Choose one you like. Find out where/from whom it's available. Farm it.

Your luck is as good as mine.

The 'best' gold drops, if value is the determining factor would be from dungeon chests (e.g. BDS), elite area chests like the UW chest (e.g. EB) etc.

If 'best' gold drops refers to quantity, you have to look at number of kills / time. Raptors and veattir are pretty much at the top of that list atm.

As for gold drops, I tend to get more of them when I'm vanquishing the less-than-obvious regions (i.e. the regions that aren't flavour-of-the-month farming spots).

I get a lot of golds doin HM missions and vanq in Cantha noob island.

Drop rate is very high even with h/h.

i don't understand why people are obsessed with raptors/vaettir, sure they used to be good but for vaettir you're lucky to get a gold a run at all and raptors are appalling...even with dam leechers. They're only good for event weekends.

True, but nothing tops Raptors/Vaettir in kills/minute.

I agree the nicest golds drop in Echovald and Jade Sea. Nice skins, and an added suspense of getting that perfect uninscribable.
